Service Engineer A fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join a leading HVAC manufacturer and supplier. This role focuses on providing expert service, maintenance, and technical support for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across domestic and commercial sectors. Due to ongoing success and growth, the company seeks to hire a new Service Engineer to their business in Dublin. The Role This full-time, field-based role involves delivering maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for a range of HVAC systems, including heat pumps and air conditioning units. Based primarily in the Dublin area, with travel to other parts of the country as needed, you will ensure the highest levels of service, repair, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include : Performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment, including heat pumps and air conditioning units. Delivering field-based technical support and diagnostics for clients. Ensuring compliance with F-Gas regulations and health and safety standards. Providing clear communication with customers and internal teams regarding service work. Managing technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime. Completing detailed service reports and documentation. Supporting the installation and commissioning teams when required. The Person You are a technically skilled engineer with a strong background in HVAC systems, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills. You will bring : Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical or electrical building services. Knowledge of F-Gas regulations and handling requirements is an advantage. We are open to considering candidates with refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications, as well as candidates from mechanical trades (plumbers, boiler engineers, mechanical fitters) and electricians. Candidates with experience in facility management would work well here Strong field service and technical support skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
