Summer EFL Teachers

ATC Language Schools is one of Ireland's leading providers of English language courses, with more than 40 years of experience in the industry and numerous centres across the country. Every summer we welcome students from around the world and we help them improve their English language skills in a friendly and stimulating environment by providing an extensive educational and cultural programme, and making sure that they feel supported at all times. We are currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic EFL (English as a Foreign Language) Teachers for our summer centres in Dublin, Kilkenny, Maynooth and Limerick. Positions are available June - August 2025. Classes have a maximum of 15 students per class and lessons are held in modern well-equipped classrooms. An extensive curriculum with pre-planned lessons is provided for all levels meaning planning time is kept to a minimum.   Key responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons tailored to learners of varying levels and abilities Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support Maintain accurate records, including attendance and progress reports Collaborate with the academic management and activity teams to ensure a seamless student experience Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment Use creative and communicative methods to deliver lessons, incorporating group work, games, and multimedia resources   Requirements Essential Minimum level 7 qualification ACELS approved TEFL qualification (CELT, CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL or SQT Preparatory) Native or near-native proficiency in English Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Ability to build good rapport with young learners (aged 11-19) Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong time management and organisational skills Ability to work to a high standard in a fast-paced environment   Desirable Previous experience in teaching languages to diverse groups of students in a summer school or similar setting A degree in English, Education, or a related field   What we offer Competitive salary and holiday pay Training and ongoing support to ensure your success in the role Opportunities for professional development and career growth A vibrant, multicultural work environment   At ATC Language Schools, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
