Role Overview :

The Ecommerce Merchandiser will optimize Carrolls Irish Gifts' product assortment across our website and third-party marketplaces to maximize sales, maintain brand consistency, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong analytical, creative, and organizational skills, with a focus on adapting merchandising strategies for both owned and external platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and update inventory levels, pricing, and promotions across all channels, coordinating cross functionally to prevent stockouts or overselling.
  • Curate and manage product listings for CarrollsIrishGifts.com, and other marketplaces, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with each platform's requirements.
  • Work closely with buyers, marketing, and creative teams to coordinate new product launches, promotional calendars, and content updates for all channels.
  • Optimize titles, bullet points, product descriptions, and images, adhering to character limits, keyword best practices, and SEO guidelines.
  • Track and analyse sales, conversion rates, and other KPIs across own website and marketplaces, providing actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Liaise with external partners, digital agencies, and marketplace support teams to resolve issues and implement best practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Proficiency with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), inventory management, and analytics tools.
  • 2+ years' experience in ecommerce merchandising, with direct experience managing Amazon and other marketplaces.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, listing optimization, and marketplace compliance requirements.
  • Excellent copywriting skills for product titles, bullet points, and descriptions tailored to marketplace SEO.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple product categories and channels simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field preferred.
