Tax Technology Senior Manager – Dublin
Meraki Talent are currently working on the appointment of a Tax Technology Senior Manager with a leading global professional services firm based in Dublin.
This is a strategic, client-facing leadership role within a rapidly growing team at the cutting edge of tax innovation. You'll combine deep tax domain expertise with advanced technology solutions to transform how major organisations approach tax compliance, reporting, and strategy.

This position sits within a high-performing and fast-scaling tax technology team that has seen significant investment. It plays a critical role in helping organisations transform their tax functions by implementing cutting-edge technologies, enhancing automation, and improving accuracy, efficiency, and governance.
As a Tax Technology Senior Manager, you'll act as a bridge between tax and technology, leading digital transformation projects across direct and indirect tax functions. You'll work closely with clients to assess existing systems, identify gaps, and implement tech-enabled solutions such as tax engines, data analytics platforms, and workflow automation tools.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead or support the delivery of large-scale tax technology transformation projects across direct tax, indirect tax, and operational tax functions.
- Advise clients on technology strategy, system integration, and automation, aligned with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and configure tax technology platforms (e.g., ONESOURCE, Alteryx, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, Azure, Anaplan).
- Develop tax data models, dashboards, and reporting tools that enhance compliance, transparency, and analytics.
- Support digital tax reporting including CbCR, DAC6, Pillar 2, and e-invoicing obligations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Train and mentor junior team members on both tax technical and technology implementation areas.
- Contribute to business development activities including proposals, pitches, and thought leadership.
Your Profile :
Around 8 years of experience in tax compliance, tax reporting, or tax technology, ideally within a Big 4, consulting, or large corporate environment.Strong understanding of corporate tax and / or indirect tax processes, combined with an interest in or experience with automation and digital tools.Proven experience in tax technology tools and platforms (e.g. ONESOURCE, Vertex, SAP, Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, RPA, etc.).Comfortable managing complex projects, engaging with clients, and leading multi-disciplinary teams.ACA / CTA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant technology certification (e.g. PMP, Agile, Azure, etc.).Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate tax requirements into practical technology solutions.Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.What's on Offer :
