Description : About Role

SPTel offers IoT-as-a-Service, an innovative platform that manages Multi-Edge-Computing (MEC) resources and IoT devices to enable Smart Nation services with advanced edge computing capabilities. Our unique proposition leverages a distributed Edge Compute cloud platform to efficiently handle processing and storage-intensive IoT applications, including video surveillance, analytics, 5G carrier hotel services, and Massive Machine Type Communications. The platform supports multiple IoT technologies such as LoRaWAN, WiFi, and MQTT.

Responsibilities

Identify, propose, deploy, and support client IoT strategies and solutions
Perform radio planning and network design for SPTel's IoT platform
Troubleshoot end-to-end device onboarding processes, from initial setup to customer endpoints
Work with IoT partners and developers to integrate with SPTel’s IoT platform
Serve as a subject matter expert, educating and training internal teams
Lead RFI / RFP / RFQ processes for IoT-related projects

Requirements

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, S.O.L.I.D., Agile / SCRUM development environment

Experience with MQTT, Modbus serial and TCP / IP, EtherNet / IP communications

Experience with LoRAWAN, WiFi and / or DSRC planning and deployment

Experience with application development skills such as python, Java, C++ etc

Ability to read and interpret design documentation as well as customer specifications

Knowledge of CyberSecurity in IoT space

At least 3 years relevant experience

Certified IP competency

Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information System or Electronics Engineering
