Maintenance Technician

We produce the most delicious ready-to-bake food products that youve ever seen and we distribute them to retail and foodservice customers in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. We were founded in 1987 and currently have more than 140 employees, an 85,000 square foot facility and the ability to produce up to 50,000 products per hour. What We Need Help With Golden Bake have an opportunity for a self-motivated Maintenance Technician ideally coming from a food background or similar to join our maintenance team on a full time, permanent basis. Job Details Work Schedule : Rotating Shift (Week 1 and 2, Day Shift : 7am to 3pm, Week 3 and 4, Evening Shift : 3pm to 11pm) Contract Type : Permanent Hourly Rate / Salary : Depending on Experience Key Responsibilities Multi-skilled in electrical / mechanical. Initiative and the ability to work without supervision. Fully responsible for maintenance support requirements for production lines. Close out planned / unplanned preventative maintenance tasks. Ensuring all maintenance records are accurately maintained and up-to date : hand overs / P.M.s / unplanned. Ability to read Elec / Mech / Pneumatic schematics. Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults. Excellent problem-solving skills. Responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to ensure minimal downtime. Working with production to ensure equipment operating correctly to meet production targets. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Comfortable with modern equipment control interfaces. Must have good attendance and time keeping. Experience Required Experience working in an electrical and mechanical maintenance environment, ideally within food production Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills Must hold a relevant trade qualification in electrical or mechanical sector.
