Location Base :  Travel needed within Munster ideal locations Tipperary / Kilkenny / Laois / Offaly.

Salary : Official Apprentice Rates offered and Commerical Vehicle

Position Summary

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Apprentice, you will work alongside a fully qualified Commissioning Engineer who will mentor you throughout your training. You'll gain hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and control systems used in water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including lockout / tagout and confined space requirements.

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including flow meters, pressure transmitters, level sensors, analysers, quality monitoring equipment and control systems.
• Support troubleshooting of control panels, PLCs, motor control centres, and SCADA systems under supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and record results accurately.
• Learn to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation loop drawings.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

Requirements :

Must have at least 2 - 3 years' experience

Good attitude & willingness to Learn

Flexibility to travel to various sites

Full clean driver's license
