Production Operative

Tendermeats Ltd. is primarily involved in the packaging of fresh Beef, Pork and Lamb. We are currently looking to recruit Full time staff to work as General Operatives as part of our production lines and team. The factory operates from Monday through to Saturday during morning and day time hours. - Full time typically working 5 days out of 6, a working day would typically be 9-10 hours and a working week of 40-45 hours The successful candidate will work as part of a team packing meat to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis and undertaking all duties as directed by your manager / supervisor. You may be working for extended periods of time in cold / chilled areas and you will be responsible for making sure the meat products are processed and packed to meet the food safety and quality standards required. Key Responsibilities : Work as part of a team to meet production targets. Will be required to be flexible to work across all areas of the production area. Will be required to maintain a strong pace of work to achieve production targets Performing daily visual inspections, Quality checks as defined by departmental procedures and instructions. Adhering to food Safety & Quality standards Completing Quality control and Production documentation. Key Requirements : Previous experience working in a Production environment beneficial but not essential The person needs to enjoy working individually and also as part of a team Must be flexible in terms of working hours and overtime hours as required. Essential : Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland and have the the correct work permits and documentation. Must be able to handle and work with Beef, Lamb and Pork We are not currently sponsoring candidates without the right to work in the EU or UK.
