Job Title :  Business Development Manager

Location :  Connacht Region, Ireland

Reports To :  Commercial Director

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven  Business Development Manager  to drive sales and expand our presence in the Munster region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in  retail sales , a proven ability to  build business relationships , and a focus on achieving and exceeding  sales targets .

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to  increase sales  within the Connacht region.
  • Identify and establish relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Drive business growth by identifying  new market opportunities  and key accounts.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets  set by the Commercial Director.
  • Provide regular  sales reports and market insights  to the Commercial Director.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to  maximize profitability .
  • Represent the company at  industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities .
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail sales  and business development.
  • Strong understanding of the Connacht retail market.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
  • Full clean driving licence  - travel across the region is required.
  • Must be 25 years and old for insurance purposes
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting  sales targets .
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
