JOB DESCRIPTION : We currently are looking for experienced and empathetic Healthcare Assistants to join our team in a community-based setting. This is permanent position with flexible working hours. Key Responsibilities : Provide person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, preferences, and goals. Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility. Promote social inclusion by supporting individuals to engage in community activities, education, or employment. Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews. Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other support staff. Uphold dignity, respect, and confidentiality at all times. Skills & Qualities : Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and resilience in challenging situations. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting well-being. Assisting with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and monitoring vital signs. Attention to Detail : Observing and reporting changes in patient conditions accurately. Time Management : Handling multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments like hospitals or care homes. Qualifications : QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support. Location : Community-Based, West Dublin and East Kildare (Celbridge, Leixlip, Lucan, Newbridge, Maynooth, Kilcock). Salary : €16.00 per hour Employment Type : Full-time, Permanent Shift and Schedule : 39 hours per week Weekend availability required. Flexitime available Contract Duration At least 24 months.
