Accountant Supervisor Shared Services is a new role in a leading large manufacturing group based in Waterford. Reporting to the Financial Controller, as the Accountant Supervisor for Shared Services you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of the Shared Services Team. The overall purpose of this role is : To ensure Shared Services provides all Group sites with an excellent service To continually protect the Group from all FX exposure To prepare monthly financial reports To ensure all customers are fully credit insured and that all Group debts are collected and accounted for in an efficient and timely manner To ensure all employees and suppliers are paid correctly and in a timely manner To have a thorough working knowledge of all Irish and UK business taxes (including Relevant Contracts Tax) Responsibilities of the role : - Supervision of a large team which provides Shared Services functions to Group sites Coordinate migration of all new sites into Shared Services Focus on daily and month end accounting to ensure the accuracy of all transactions Training and cross training for all staff to ensure continuity of excellent team service To continually analyse internal processing routines with a view to continuous improvement Role will suit : - Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA A min of 5 years relevant experience in finance or accounting People management experience Very strong attention to detail along with good communication and motivational skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Strong prioritisation skills Proven high degree of professional integrity Knowledge of UK and Irish payroll functions and regulations an advantage Skills : Accountant People Management Shared Services Benefits : Pension
