About Milltown Golf Club Milltown Golf Club is a well-regarded private members club in Dublin, known for its welcoming community and excellent golf facilities. As we continue to evolve and enhance our member experience, we're looking for someone to join our dedicated office team. The Role Were seeking a friendly, efficient, and well-organised General Administrator to support our busy club office. This is a varied, people-focused role where youll be helping to keep things running smoothly from member communications to day-to-day admin support. Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Support - Keep the office organised and running efficiently phones, email, post, filing, and supplies - Draft documents, notices, minutes, and internal communications - Maintain accurate records, databases, and office systems - Provide day-to-day support to the Operations Manager and General Manager Member Interaction - Be a first point of contact for member queries and assistance - Help manage bookings for competitions and events - Send out newsletters, notices, and member updates - Contribute to delivering a smooth and friendly experience across member touchpoints Events & Meetings - Coordinate room bookings and event support needs - Prepare agendas and minutes for committee or staff meetings - Organise materials for meetings and events (e.g. signage, printing, refreshments) General Club Support - Assist with club-wide projects including the clubhouse redevelopment - Support compliance tasks like Health & Safety or GDPR documentation What We're Looking For Were looking for someone who is detail-oriented, positive, and reliable. You should be confident working independently while also being part of a small team. Youll Need : - Experience in office administration or similar role - Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook - Clear written and verbal communication skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks - A friendly and professional approach when dealing with members Nice to Have : - Experience in a golf club, private club, or hospitality setting - Familiarity with event coordination or membership software (training provided) - A willingness to learn about the unique environment of a private members club Working Hours - 30 hours minimum, Monday to Friday - Some flexibility for evening or weekend event support (with notice) How to ApplyTo apply, please send your CV and a short cover letter outlining your interest and experience.
