We have a long and successful track record and have safely navigated the economic turmoil of recent years, drawing from the extensive experience and skills of our investment managers.

In 2019 the office was authorised and established as Quilter Cheviot Europe to serve clients across the European Union.

As an Investment Administrator you'll be part of a team, aiding the client experience, with your roles including but not limited to :

  • As your role is central within the team, you will be assisting in general administration roles. These duties are varied daily, but usually consist of answering the phones, preparing paperwork, preparing suitability letters and maintenance of suitability affirmations, and assisting in the production of investment proposals. You will be required to assist in the distribution of valuations and tax packs for the team's client base.
  • You will also be required to facilitate the smooth opening of new accounts, arrange payments to our clients and advisers, and assist Investment Managers are well prepared for client meetings.
  • In time, to aid your progress towards being a Trainee Investment Manager, you will be invited to attend client meetings with the Investment Managers.
  • You will be working very closely with our clients and their agents to provide the best service with information and reports regarding their portfolio, which necessitates close relationship building with our stakeholders whether that be internally or externally. You will therefore need to have a pleasant and personable manner, able to get on with a variety of clients.

Corepetencies : We use the Microsoft Office suite on a daily basis so a good understanding of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is necessary. The individual should befortable using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, IF and SUMIF (for example) and be willing to learn more in order to streamline their role. An understanding of Macros and Pivot tables would be beneficial.

About You

  • To be successful in this role you'll be an independent worker and thinker.
  • You have an interest in financial services or have a good understanding of our financial services where you can utilise your knowledge and experience within investment management.
  • A good level ofmunication skills is required.
  • Ideally you would be QFA qualified or have a desire toplete the QFA with experience in financial services being beneficial.
