Job descriptionFull clean B or C license Up-to-date CPC and Tacho card if you have a C licence Good English Good communication skills Ability to lift heavy objects and load / unload materials Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations High school diploma or equivalent Manual handling certificate required (training provided) Ensure that the vehicle is properly maintained and report any issues to management Load and unload goods and materials as needed Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in good working condition Plan routes and navigate through traffic to ensure timely deliveries Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior Communicate with the dispatch team to provide updates on delivery status Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times Overtime available Designated Company parking Opportunities for career growth and development
Excel Recruitment is currently looking for a B or C Licence Driver to join our client based in the South Dublin area. We are seeking a motivated individual to start immediately. It is an ongoing position with hours being 8 : 00 am – 5 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a competitive pay rate. If you are looking for a permanent rewarding opportunity, then this role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities of this Multi-Drop Truck Driver job :
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to specified locations
- Ensure that the load is correctly secured between locations
- Deliver goods to multiple destinations in a timely manner
- Always adhere to the Health & Safety procedures
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and report any discrepancies
- Perform other duties as assigned
