Operations Manager

Operations Manager - Munster Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established grocery retail group operating across the Munster region and south Leinster.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a passion for retail and a proven track record in multi-site or senior store management.

Salary : €65k - €70k Responsibilities : Oversee all operations across assigned stores, ensuring a high standard of performance, presentation, and customer satisfaction Collaborate with store management teams to meet and exceed KPI targets including sales, margin, waste, and labour control Lead, coach and develop store teams to deliver Retail Excellence and uphold company values.

Support stores in achieving I-CARE Service Excellence standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives Oversee all HR and people management functions including performance reviews, training, conflict resolution, rostering, and compliance Take ownership of stock management and procurement, ensuring stock levels, waste control and supplier relationships are efficiently managed Ensure compliance with all relevant Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, and employment legislation Conduct regular store visits, audits and management meetings to monitor and guide store performance Contribute to the company's overall strategy through effective cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and Buying teams Requirements : Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior retail management role, ideally in grocery or FMCG Proven ability to manage and develop people across multiple locations Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong analytical abilities Confident in interpreting and acting upon detailed business reports and KPIs Flexible and willing to travel regularly within the Munster region In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and retail operational procedures A proactive leader with strong delegation skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment If you are interested in this Operation Manager job opportunity, then please apply to Nikki Murran via the link below.
