Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Project Manager to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with likely extensions thereafter. Location is South Dublin - Hybrid working will apply (must be available to attend meetings / workshops in South Dublin / Dublin 8 when required.) Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €32.54 per hour based on an annualised salary of €59,419. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays. Role Working as part of a Project Team, the ICT Project Manager will be expected to manage all aspects of one or more projects, possibly including initial scoping and planning stages, in accordance with the standards, tools and methodologies adopted within in the team. The ICT Project Manager will likely manage projects with significant budgets and strategic importance. The ICT Project Manager will be expected to report, in a matrix framework, to a number of stakeholder groups. The Project Manager may be allocated to a portfolio of projects dependent on the stage individual projects are at plus level of work commitment required. This is to ensure efficient use and maximisation of resource expertise and availability for the duration of the contract. Drive a process of continuous system improvement through change management processes. Build on existing links with key stakeholder partners. Drive a culture of improvement, innovation and best in class within the Project Team. Required Skills & Experience : A track record of 5+ years successfully managing the delivery of large-scale project(s) within a medium - large scale organisation, preferably within the Healthcare Industry. Experience of budget planning, financial management and resource management processes Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, including MS Project. Knowledge and understanding of the Irish Health Care system is an advantage. Knowledge and understanding of Public Procurement system is an advantage. Business Competencies : Displays leadership, high level of communication and interpersonal skills including liaising with multiple stakeholders. Internal and external. Excellent ICT, presentation and report writing skills. Ability to work with the other ICT units to ensure that ICT programmes are delivered in a cohesive & planned manner. Demonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects are maximised. Demonstrates evidence of strategic management skills including service planning, managing own work and that of others, delegating appropriately within the resources available. Demonstrate ability to implement and manage change and business process re-organisation skills. Displays a commitment to achieving quality results including experience in evaluating the provision of services. Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills. Self-starter with a demonstrable willingness to take on responsibility Significant experience in supervising, managing and developing a team - leadership skills and innovative communicator. Ability to prioritise, workflow, and handle multiple competing and changing priorities Excellent written & oral communication skills with a proven confidence in presenting information clearly & concisely. Experience of working across multiple business units & functions. Attention to detail, ensuring documentation, files and processes are continually up to date for auditing purposes. Reporting and presenting key findings, together with well-reasoned solution options, to senior management.
