About the role Deloitte Technology & Transformation (T&T) has an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Business Risk Leader (DBRL) within our Irish business. The successful candidate will report into the Business Risk Leader and will be a trusted strategic advisor to T&T leadership including participation as a member of key governance bodies both locally (T&T and Firm-wide) and internationally. The DBRL has responsibility for implementing and overseeing a Quality & Risk Programme consistent with our T&T strategy and DTTL Member firm policies. Whilst reporting into the Business Lead, the DBRL will also have a working relationship with both Irish Firm Quality & Risk Leadership and the international QRM leadership. Be a trusted, strategic advisor to the T&T Leader, Partners and Directors Drive the development and integration of a QRM programme consistent with T&T strategy and DTTL Member Firm policies Work with QRM leaders to oversee planning and implementation of new QRM initiatives in line with QRM strategy and priorities and ensure Global programmes are aligned to the risk profile of the Irish T&T business Oversee facilitation of T&Ts processes to identify, mitigate, and report on top quality matters and risks to the business. Strengthen and reinforce the quality and risk culture within T&T, including identification and mitigation of key risk trends Lead oversight of T&T QRM team and infrastructure to manage top risks and identify emerging quality matters and risks Represent IE at regional and Global leadership meetings / events as a pro-active, contributing and influential part of the leadership team About you Deep understanding of quality and risk management in a professional services environment Experience in a lead delivery role within professional services preferable History of successful projects and / or change initiative delivery Strong understanding of core consulting / advisory business and commercial drivers Proven team leadership experience Excellent communication and presentation skills, delivering key messages with clarity to instill confidence Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels If you believe that you meet most of the criteria above, we encourage you to apply.
