Location : Diageo ROI – St James Gate, 98 James Street, Dublin 8

Working Hours : 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days (Monday to Sunday)

Rate of Pay : €36,000 DOE

Contract Type : Permanent

Job Introduction

We are currently seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Diageo ROI – St James Gate . In this vital role, you will be responsible for leading a team of cleaning operatives to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment. Your excellent attention to detail and strong leadership skills will ensure high standards are met and exceeded across the site.

Role Responsibility

Supervise and support a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring effective allocation of duties.

Conduct regular quality and compliance checks in line with company standards.

Ensure all staff are trained appropriately and work within health and safety regulations.

Maintain cleaning schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Liaise with the client to address any specific site requirements or feedback.

Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and coordinate timely replenishment.

Report maintenance issues and follow up to resolution.

Ensure effective communication across the team and act as a point of escalation.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience in a similar supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities sector.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to manage workloads and priorities effectively.

Sound knowledge of health and safety and cleaning compliance standards.

Comfortable using technology for scheduling and reporting purposes.

Flexible and adaptable to meet operational requirements.
