Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Local Implementation Engineer to lead the transition from Azure Local on HPE hardware, leveraging Ansible for automation. This role is critical in modernising our customers infrastructure to ensure scalability, efficiency, and enhanced performance.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure Local solutions on HPE hardware.
  • Lead the migration strategy, transitioning workloads from VMware to Azure Local.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to streamline deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of Azure services.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Provide training and documentation to support teams on new processes and tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to bring innovative solutions to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with HPE hardware management tools.
  • Experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
  • Proven experience in implementing Azure solutions on HPE hardware.
  • Extensive knowledge of VMware and experience in transitioning from VMware to cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Strong understanding of networking, storage, and compute resources in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
