We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead our Cleaning Team at the Dublin Criminal Courts of Justice. We are looking for an individual with experience in both cleaning and supervising a team, who is also passionate about delivering excellent service and maintaining customer satisfaction. This is a full time role working 0600-1430 or 1300-2130 Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturdays 0800-1430. Job outline : To supervise and work with the cleaning team in the Criminal Courts of Justice complex. To roster the cleaning team to ensure a clean, safe and hygienic environment is upheld for the building users, the client and to audit standards. To work closely with the other Cleaning Supervisor and the Cleaning Services Manager to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard. To work closely with other G4S FM teams to ensure cleaning requirements are identified and actioned. To carry out scheduled, reactive and out of term cleaning tasks. To train, complete training evaluation documentation and develop cleaning team members. To be proactive on cleaning, waste and recycling solutions and initiatives. Key responsibilities : Ensure clear instruction and direction given to cleaning operatives at all times. Ensure that all operational issues or problems that arise on shift are addressed, recorded with the Helpdesk if appropriate, and closed off in a professional and timely manner. Ensure any employee relations issues are dealt with and resolved in a speedy and efficient manner, and are advised to the Cleaning Services Manager. Leading and assisting in the development of training for a skilled cleaning team to meet operational and business needs and reviewing operational procedures to maximise customer satisfaction. Ensure the image of the contract reflects the professional image of the Company, at all times. To carry out assigned cleaning duties, assisting team members where necessary. Assist in implementing and maintaining an effective stock control system for chemicals, equipment and consumables. Assist with stock control, ordering and distribution. Undertake daily monitoring and documented spot checks of areas and staff to ensure high standards of cleaning and safety are kept at all times. To comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and emergency procedures as required. Work in accordance with G4S Core Values at all times. Attend supervisor and cleaning team meetings. Co-ordinate staff to attend required training. Maintain documentation in accordance with ISO procedures. Maintain hygiene standards for mops / cloths, cleaning materials and equipment. Provide holiday / absence relief cover for the other cleaning supervisor. Weekly and monthly sign off and completion of PPMs and Supervisor documentation. Weekly compilation of Kronos schedules and time card sign off for all cleaning team members. Work in accordance with all relevant ISO standards. Key competencies : Ability to train and coach team members to achieve and maintain high standards. (E) Good people management skills and ability to report to management.(E) Good organisational and time management skills.(E) Reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious with an eye for detail.(E) Fully trained in the use of chemical cleaning products and cleaning equipment.
