Electrician

Opportunity for a hands-on Production Electrician to work in critical electrical roles within our production and finishing processes for leading Electrical Equipment Manufacturer based in Cavan.

This role will hold the balance of working across functions, connecting cable and control boxes on large units, electrically testing transformers to high customer specification and occasionally working with maintenance and visiting customer site.

The role requires shift work with fixed schedules and overtime where necessary.

Responsibilities Cable joining and termination.

Following production schematics Fault finding and diagnosis.

Inspecting and testing electrical systems Testing according to customer specification and ISO 17025 Flexible across electrical work Desired Qualifications & Experience Qualified Electrician Use of testing equipment and hand tools Experience of schematics Preferred candidate will have the following qualities : Normal colour vision Good teamwork and communication skills Skills : Maintenance Troubleshooting Repair Electrical Installation Benefits : Pension Fund Medical Aid / Health Care Annual Bonus / 13th Cheque Overtime
